Candidates who trained with and are now working at either a City firm or a major regional practice should have strong academics and exposure to a broad range of corporate transactional work. Ideally, they will also have some experience of or interest in venture capital work, including the drafting of investment agreements and VC style articles of association. The team is involved in a good mix of corporate work, primarily in the technology sector, weighted equally between M&A transactional work and venture capital fundraising, and acts both for investee companies and institutional investors in London and across the South.
