Apply now Meraki Talent are currently working with an expanding fintech company based in central Edinburgh for a Corporate Actions Manager. You will have responsibility for a team covering all the activities related to processing corporate actions, dividends and distributions on a variety of securities held under various custody arrangements. This role will require some client engagement for ongoing service provision as well as understanding any change to operational process. Some of the responsibilities will include: Responsible for ensuring all administrative duties related to processing both mandatory and elective corporate events are undertaken within specified deadlines.Support to end customers ensuring the provision of qualitative and timely information in respect of elective and mandatory event.Accurate and timely process for take up of end client elections for optional corporate events.Monitoring and ensuring adherence to SLA's, KPI's and department procedures.Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with any relevant compliance or regulatory requirements with particular focus to ensure adherence to CASS, SYSC and COBs rules.Efficient workflow or process management identifying and implementing improvements as necessary to optimise team performance.Manage the team's performance to ensure adherence to team and individual objectives.Keeping staff informed of any changes in regulatory rules and adherence to them and implementation to procedures.Provide leadership and development for individuals. The background of the Corporate Actions Manager: Extensive corporate actions & asset servicing experience within a team lead/management position.Product knowledge of instruments (mutual funds, equities, fixed income), tax wrapped accounts (ISA, JISA, SIPP) and custody models (CREST, global custody).Thorough understanding of the lifecycle of a corporate action transaction including cash and security reconciliations and posting to client and general ledger accounts.Working knowledge of CASS rules would be a distinct advantage
