Apply on recruiter's website Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Community Centre Manager to lead the development of a thriving community hub at Lobley Hill Community Centre. They will help set the strategic direction of the Centre and take responsibility for the delivery of the organisation's Reaching Communities funded programme aimed at building the capacity of the community to develop, deliver and sustain a range of exciting projects.Our client aims to be the UK's leading environmental regeneration charity, working through partnership to create communities in which people are proud to live and work. The organisation is working towards a vision of a society of sustainable communities which are vibrant, healthy and safe, which respect the local and global environment and where individuals enterprise and prosper.Community Centre ManagerSalary: Circa £23,000 pro rata (negotiable dependant on experience)Location: GatesheadHours: 22.5 per week The role will involve managing a small staff team and the day to day management of the centre itself. This role is funded until March 2019 by BIG Lottery, the Community Centre Manager will have a key role in securing funds to continue the post after this date.
