Apply now Freelance Chartered Structural Engineer in Nottinghamshire company for 6 months plus paying up to £39 per hour Your new companyThis Engineering Consultancy are on the lookout for a Chartered Structural Engineer to assist with a range of projects and also lead various projects from inception to completion. This company have an enviable client list, who are very loyal and have a varying amount of medium to large projects across the country.Your new roleAs the Chartered Engineer, you will be leading a team of Structural Engineers on various projects. You will be making key business decisions and may also be in a client facing role. You will be designing on a variety of projects from industrial, commercial, leisure and residential schemes too. What you'll need to succeedYou will have an excellent track record within the industry and be able to design using most construction materials, more specifically masonry, steel, timber and concrete to the Eurocode or British Standards. You will need to be able to use various software packages such as Tedds, STAAD, Masterseries and other structural analysis packages. Knowledge of AutoCAD would also be very useful. What you'll get in returnYou will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects within the industry and lead a team of Engineers. You will be engaged on a freelance basis on a contract length of at least 6 months and be working closely with the Directors of the practice.
