As they continue to expand their category team, they are seeking a high calibre Category Manager who is capable of taking their business to the next level and helping to bridge the gap between insight and the commercial side of things. Key responsibilities will include supporting the development of category partnerships with the top 4 grocers in order to drive their offering through category management tools - specifically market data analysis and insight, research analysis and insights, and ranging and merchandising. The successful candidate will either be a Category Manager within the FMCG sector or a high flying Category Executive ready to make the step up. You will have experience of working with a top 4 UK grocery retailer or the chilled food category and possess excellent presentation skills as well as experience of analysing and interpreting agency data. Any own label experience would be highly beneficial, but not essential. Being a team player and having strong interpersonal and leadership skills will also be key attributes to make you successful within this role.
