Apply now Job Summary The recruitment department of the French Chamber of Great Britain is acting as an agency for its 600 member companies, one of which is currently recruiting a Category Manager. The company is a French company specialised in dairy products. Under the responsibility of the Marketing and Sales Development Manager, the Category Manager will work closely with internal partners, Marketing & Sales, to ensure coherence/alignment of the strategic plans and tailor them to each retailer in order to implement them effectively. Key responsibilities: Panel/Data Source Interface: Contacting all providers of data market;Ensuring the effectiveness of the tools;Training of the team;Doing market analysis;Translating market data into trade objectives (distribution, promotional strategy etc) and monitors them. Category Management: Developing customer relationships to maximise the range;Analysing and interpreting trends in collaboration with marketing and sales department to identify category growth, opportunities and risks;Providing recommendation for all retailer range reviews. Trade Marketing: Helping turn marketing plans into trade plans;Evaluating the effectiveness of plans to establish key learning's and future opportunities. Profile: At least 4 years' experience in FMCG with a similar position (category manager, sales/panel analyst)Strong understanding of UK retail tradeComfortable with multiple data setsStrong computer skills: Office + Nielsen Answers softwareStrong communication and influencing skillsTeam spirit and strategicWell organised, able to priorities, time efficient Only suitable candidates will be contacted.
