Working with this well-established brand you will be involved all aspects of CNC work within the manufacturing unit. Working from their well-established site based in Runcorn, this role offers a stable and secure career path for technically motivated engineers.The Machining Shift Team Leader is responsible for leadership of the shift team and running machines to achieve the daily output targets whilst maintaining the quality and procedural expectations of the company.The position requires experienced machining knowledge along with leadership experience. The person must be able to communicate at all levels both within the immediate team, and other key functional areas. Required Skills & Experience*NVQ Level 3 extended diploma or equivalent in a machine related discipline.*Experience of Fanuc programming language required, OSP language desirable*Experience of operating 4/5 axis HMCs (preferably Okuma, Makino, Cincinnati) essential*Experience with Zoller tool pre-setter or equivalent essential*Knowledge of setting specialised tools; form tools, reamers, roller burnishing etc. *Experience in operating a CMM and use of traditional machine shop measuring / gauging equipment essential*Experience of reading technical drawings and specifications essential*Effective trouble shooting, problem solving and organizational skills. Able to handle frequent interruptions, meet tight deadlines, and handle conflict in an effective manner. *Ability to interact with people at all levels of responsibility.This role offers a competitive salary as well as a very secure and stable career path.
