Apply now Business Development Manager Salary £30 – 35K + Car + Package Our client is an independently owned UK commercial AV solution provider primarily to the Medical, Industrial and Automotive markets. Particular products supplied are speakers, antennas, amplifiers, and converters. Based in Hampshire they are now looking for a New Business Development Manager to build their customer base and existing project portfolio. Customers' range from large global OEM's and Tier 1's to small independent manufacturers of electronic devices. Role: Follow up on customer enquiries, working with the project engineering teams, suppliers to ensure customer demands are met and surpassed.Maintain and develop existing relationships with customers whilst proactively creating new customer relationships in order to achieve increased revenue.UK and European travel will be regular with nights away from home. There will also be worldwide travel at less regular intervals.This is a new business focused role so you will be in control of your own opportunity generation therefore experience in this industry/ product sector is an advantage. This will entail speaking and presenting to a wide variety of people up to board level within customer organisations. Experience: Business to business sales experience is essentialAn understanding of general manufacturing techniquesInterest in audio, acoustics and other infotainment systems found in modern carsAttention to detail and technically sound in general engineering and confident speaking to Engineers at all levels.
