Apply now Our client a Local Authority in London is seeking a Building Surveyor to work on a temporary 3-month contract, which might be extended after the 3 months' tenure. You will manage and prioritise an allocated caseload, identify and reduce/manage risks, explore the most effective method of progressing cases and liaise with other stakeholders as appropriate. You will also carry out the full range of building surveying tasks associated with the identification, design, specification and implementation of building and associated works, to residential properties. Including; undertaking condition and measured surveyspreparation of drawings using computer aided design [CAD]preparation of schedules and specifications of workspreparing bills of quantities and contract documentationundertaking the procurement of maintenance and building worksadministrating works on-site and resolving final accounts project management and preparing project briefingsprofessional building surveying duties in relation to multiple schemesacting as the client's agentundertake feasibility studiesprogrammes and expenditure profilesprepare and maintain project risk registersmonitor and report on project finances and expenditure profilesundertake duties under the Construction [Design & Management] Regulationsact as the Principal Designercarry out Contract Administrator dutiesundertake party wall matters Skills and Qualifications RICS or ABE membership or qualificationPrevious experience in a similar roleExcellent oral and written communication skillsTeam playerExcellent time management skills
