Yet at the same time enjoy designing and making clothes? The Client A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Buddy/Personal Assistant to work directly with one of our clients in Uckfield, East Sussex. She is a 15 year old who has a fantastic sense of humour, who requires support in accessing the community and her interests safely. She has bundles of energy and enjoys textiles and fashion, swimming, extreme sports and socialising with friends. You would be expected as the Buddy/Personal Assistant to plan her activities and participate where required so a keen interest in these hobbies is desirable. She lives with her family and is a typical teenager who needs assistance in having independence within her capabilities. The Buddy/Personal Assistant You would need to ideally have experience of working as a Buddy/PA and have the ability to balance being; patient, caring, understanding, motivating, encouraging and fun whilst ensuring that she has boundaries to ensure her safety and well-being.Our ideal candidate would be someone who has the same interests as our client with lots of energy.She loves swimming, zip wiring, trampolining, go-karting, going out for coffee, the cinema and is desperate to learn how to ski! Whilst also enjoying the creativity of designing and making clothes. Participating in these activities would be a requirement of the role.Support is required for her hydrotherapy sessions and in ensuring that she progresses in line with the expectations set out by the different therapists involvedIt is essential that you are a car driver and car owner as you would be required to use your vehicle to enable the client to access her hobbies and interests.
