About You You have proven experience of HIGH VOLUME, B2C BILLING, ideally within ENERGY or UTILITIES and have a great understanding of payments management and processes (both DD and non-DD). You demonstrate excellent DATA HANDLING,ANALYSIS and management skills and have a track record of PROCESS ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT. You are an outstanding communicator who can quickly build rapport and demonstrates the ability to achieve success through motivation and engagement of others. You have excellent attention to detail and organisational skills and have experience in building and leading small teams. About the Role This is an exciting and challenging position for a highly motivated and experienced BILLING AND PAYMENTS MANAGER who will play a key role in maximising efficiency with our Billing and Payments processes with a small team of staff. This role can be based in either READING or BRISTOL and will be reporting to the Head of Operations. You'll provide support, coaching and development to your team members to meet and exceed performance targets and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our Billing activities, as well as ensuring the successful management of financial transactions. You will be supportive and display excellent customer service capabilities, building customer confidence and maintaining the company's reputation. You'll be responsible for the management and recruitment of a small team of advisors including productivity and performance management and task allocation and will ensurecompliance with core regulatory requirements for both energy Billing and Direct Debit. You'll be able to make use of existing technologies to maximise customer contact whilst minimising cost and will review and propose new technologies as required.
