The business produces high quality livestock feeds for beef, sheep, dairy, pig and poultry from its own Feed Mills. This new and exciting role within the senior management team is responsible for the delivery of the company's new Beef and Sheep sales strategy, through the effective day to day management and development of the species sales team. You will manage and further develop a high performance culture across the existing team, to ensure the company's unique on farm approach is adopted across all customers. This key Sales management role will focus primarily on the performance of the Sales team, including new starts, trainees and experienced individuals through one to coaching, mentoring and weekly performance management. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate previous success and experience in a similar Sales management role. Experience within the Animal Feed, Livestock or other Agricultural based industries is preferred. Candidates should be highly motivated, pro-active and confident whilst being able to demonstrate excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills. The successful individual will be expected to achieve team sales targets, ensure strong customer relationships and deliver profitable long term growth. The company has a 2 year growth plan in place, which will provide an opportunity to increase the current headcount and expand the existing customer base.
