The specialist Personal Injury Barrister will be responsible for providing a full range of litigation services and deal with all personal injury matters. This is a dynamic role with a fast paced, evolving Company, working with and supporting the Legal Affairs of its prestigious client base. Salary package will be dependant on experience and qualifications. Personal Injury Barrister role and responsibilities are but not limited to: Drafting and negotiating contracts with a multi-jurisdictional scopeThe subject matter of the contracts will be varied but will require advising candidates on complex and difficult disputesWorking with multi-national regulatory regimes and personal injury managementHave a claimant background to pick up an existing caseload of claimant filesThe personal injury fee earners deal with most areas of claimant personal injury work, covering RTA, EL, PL and 'slips and trips claims', either pre-issue or litigatedManaging junior team members to provide litigation support generally to senior members of the team to include evidence and document management including collection and compilation of supporting evidence and drafting of witness statements, as required Personal Injury Barrister Profile: A recognised qualified UK Lawyer with relevant 3 years minimum post qualification experience and: Completed training contract in a leading law firm in the UK or GibraltarCurrently working at a recognised litigation company in the UK or GibraltarGood academic qualificationsHighly computer proficient, specifically in Microsoft word, and excel3 years plus PQE experience working in a commercial litigation environmentExcellent organisational skillsExcellent communication skills (written, spoken and negotiation)A commercial and common-sense approachWillingness to work hardAbility to work effectively as part of a small team in GibraltarFeel comfortable working on your own initiative with a certain amount of autonomyAn appetite to use and develop wider legal skills/knowledge To Apply If you are seeking an exciting challenge in your Legal career within a commercially fast paced environment then please send your CV without delay as the client is interviewing.
