Apply now This Business Development Executive role focuses on advising and supporting banking litigation, financial services regulatory, corporate crime and investigations, as well as administrative and public law. You will have a great deal of responsibility and scope to develop within the Disputes practice. It is a broad ranging business development role within a market leading Disputes practice. Key Responsibilities: Provide 'first point of contact' advice and support to the sector partners, fee earners and PSLs for all tactical and ad hoc BD questions or requestsDevelop strong relationships with the partners, fee earners and PSLs so that you are viewed as a trusted advisorDevelop a solid understanding of your groups specific practice area as well as the wider Disputes practice and the firmPrepare business development plans and BD initiative project plans as well as driving forward the progressDevelop presentations and documents that provide high level overview of practice/sector plans and achievementManage distinct additional firm-wide or practice projects as requiredProject manage all aspects of tender responses and pitches, including drafting material and obtaining input from various contributorsDevelop strong key selling messages for pitches and submissionsManaging communications including the debrief process internally and externallyProject manage client events including active participation in them, meeting clientsUndertake research and analysis to identify targets for the sector practice areas and take responsibility for targeting initiativesIdentify and co-ordinate cross-selling opportunities with other practice areas, sector specialists and relationship partnersProject manage the development of marketing collateral with design and production teamPrepare legal directories and award submissions for the practiceLiaise with the Business Development lead and PR/communications team on all media and PR opportunities for practice areas The successful candidate will have previous marketing/BD experience in a partnership or corporate environment. A background in disputes is strongly preferable. Proficiency with systems, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as experience in InterAction is highly desirable.
