Apply now Job purpose The role will involve the completion of audit engagements for the firm's audit clients as well as being a technical expert for the audit department. This will include assisting and advising the client management team on the formulation of audit strategy and planning. You will be leading an audit team, ensuring that the team complete in a timely manner and within budget. Ideally you will be AAT qualified AAT or ACA/ACCA qualified/part qualified. You will have significant external audit experience managing a portfolio of clients and leading audit teams, with a very high level of technical expertise. Excellent communication and strong teamwork skills are essential. Duties and responsibilities Managing and completing statutory audit work for the firm's audit clients, including the management of junior members, reporting to audit compliance partner and liaising with clients.Ensuring that the audit procedures are up to date and meet the statutory requirements as laid out in the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs)Taking primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from budget, then gaining a full understanding for the audit compliance partner Qualifications and experience AAT qualified or ACA/ACCA fully/part qualifiedIdeally experience within a small or medium sized practice
