Apply now A highly regarded , independent and long established Consultancy has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their close knit organisation. This role has been created as a result of organic growth within an existing commission as well as continued growth within the Infrastructure market, which encompasses Water, Highways, Rail, Energy and major programmes and projects. As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting an existing team across he post contract management and administration of a significant programme outside of their client's traditional areas of operation. You will be providing a well considered and focused service to the programme and very much be seen as a trusted advisor. You will be joining a business that will be committed to your ongoing development and training as well as offering you real variety in terms of projects and sectors. There will be every opportunity for you to define your own destiny and attain Partner status in time. Working in a Post Contract environment, you will be responsible for: -Interim valuations and payment certificates -Variations analysis, recommendations and management -Risk and value management and cost control functions -Costs analysis project work; -Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks -Preparation of progress/ cost reports -Reporting to Commercial Manager on all commercial issues To be considered for this role it is anticipated that you: -Be educated to degree level in a relevant subject -Be Chartered or near Chartered with the RICS or ICES -Hold demonstrable experience in supporting clients across post contract phase -Have very strong knowledge of the NEC form of contract -Be able to build effective working relationships with multiple project stakeholders -Be proactive and an independent operator Please do not hesitate to contact us in confidence for a more detailed discussion surrounding what we feel is an outstanding career opportunity.
