Apply now A large UK based regulator are currently undergoing a proposed regulation legislation change programme and are recruiting for a couple of Analysts. These are 6-month roles which are responsible for assisting on critical analysis and policy work to support the implementation of a price cap. Main Duties: Support the economists and policy manager in delivering high quality quantitative and qualitative analysis and evidence for price regulation for susceptible customers and those experiencing default tariffsContribute to key findings that help advise aspects of the policy decisionsManage processes for the team and respond to industry on data requests and publishing documents for the websiteContribute to consultation forms and impact assessmentsWork closely with experts across other policy teams, and legal advisorsWork with other government bodies, industry stakeholders and consumer associations Person Specification: Must have experience of analytical work in a regulatory environmentMust have strong analytical and quantitative skillsMust have strong stakeholder communication engagement skills to be able to communicate complex findings effectively to both expert and non-expert audiencesMust be competent in excelMust be an excellent team player and be able to work effectively in a high performing environmentA good understanding of the retail energy market and or social policy is highly desirableA degree or equivalent in Economics is essential The Pro-Recruitment Group consists of four distinct brands: ProTax, ProLegal, ProFinance and ProHR.
