Apply now Analyst - Operational Risk Management 3 Months + £80 per day Belfast Investment Banking Job Purpose: Assist the global Operational Risk departments with enhancing the control assessment programmes. Analyse risk and control information, ensure alignment of operational risk and control information recording with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Simplification initiative objectives. Produce mapping of historical operational risk events, issues, manager control assessment information to Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) Taxonomy. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis Analyse key operational risk and control data to identify and execute: Mapping of historical operational risk events information to Governance Risk and Compliance Taxonomy Mapping of historical issues information to Governance Risk and Compliance Taxonomy Mapping of managers control assessment information on processes, significant risks, key controls and monitoring methods to Governance Risk and Compliance Taxonomy Operational risk and control information cross-references to work streams of Governance Risk and Compliance Simplification Initiative Summarize and present analysis in concise, though-provoking and action driven manner. Prepare materials and present results of analysis to ORM and business senior management Knowledge/Experience: A solid understanding of financial products and processes Relevant experience in risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and remediation will be an additional strength Experience of managing a complex project portfolio, with variable stakeholders and tight deadlines. Prior experience in Project Management is an advantage Banking/Operational Risk experience is an advantage.
