The organisation is very much an Agile company and always looking for ways to improve. The Agile Test Coach will be integral to taking their test approach to the next level. Agile Coach | Trainer | Testing | Development | Product management | UX | Change Management | Continuous Improvement | Delivery Management | Agile/Scrum Certified | Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) | DevOps | BDD | TDD So important to be the successful Agile Coach: Highly experienced in guiding, coaching and training Test teamsComfortable talking to product owners, clients, UX specialists and developersInfluence agile testing across the spectrum of software development lifecycle, from product concept to delivery and monitoringCoach Agile teams to improve their approach to testing, both tool-based and hands-onIncrease the amount of consideration given to testing before coding commencesIdentify opportunities cross-team collaboration and be an advocate for improvementsIdentify high values tests, and categories of tests, that are currently missing Experience You must have: Experience advocating for testing approaches within an agile contextExperience advocating for addition of specific tests, or classes of tests, to existing codeExperience identifying important test cases before coding has startedExperience in exploratory testing of unfamiliar applicationsFamiliarity with use of monitoring and other test-in-production strategiesAn ability to discuss rationale for different kinds of tests in different contexts - in particular, what should and should not be tested, and the effective use of unit tests vs integration testsDemonstrated skills in coaching teams to improve their test approach and test design skills, including across multiple teamsDeep experience with risk-adjusted testing in an agile context where speed of delivery is importantA willingness to learn the domains/sectorsSociable - happy to pair with product managers and developers as appropriateFlexible - able to adapt and align work to changing requirements and prioritiesPassionate - interested in the latest testing trendsConfident - able to clearly express your ideas in discussionsCurious - willing and able to questions that help you learn and developChange oriented - willing and able to be part of an environment that is geared towards continuous improvement Desirable: Experience with metrics based approaches to testingAn ability to automate missing tests when no developers are availableExperience pairing with programmersExperience with Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)Experience in one or more of Product Ownership, UX, Dev/Ops roles Agile Coach | Trainer | Testing | Development | Product management | UX | Change Management | Continuous Improvement | Delivery Management | Agile/Scrum Certified | Software Development Life-cycle (SDLC) | DevOps | BDD | TDD Agile Coach (Test & SDLC) | London | Up to £100,000 + Excellent Benefits A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Agile Coach to join an award-winning mid-sized company and bring experience of Coaching Test teams, Product, UX and Development and improve all teams in their ability.
