Apply now A top 100 Accountancy Practice are in search for an Semi Senior Accountant to work within their Accounting Solutions Department in there London office. The firm place a particularly strong enthlasis on progression and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance into a senior position. Study support may be made available for candidates completing or looking to complete their ACCA qualification. This position will involve working on the accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies along with the preparation of VAT returns, statutory and management accounts. Working within a busy department the role requires good communication skills and the ability to multi task and complete assignments to a deadline. The ideal candidate will have relevant previous experience in a similar role, and will have completed their AAT qualification. The Accounts Semi Senior will be responsible for: Accounts preparation for manager reviewPreparing and submitting VAT returnsVarious bookkeeping dutiesAdding client records onto softwarePreparing and submitting Tax ReturnsAttending and preparing of client meetingsLiaising with clients and the HMRC to resolve any issues that may occur The Ideal Accounts Semi Senior: 1-2 years' experience in public practice.AAT qualified or ACCA/ACA Part Qualified.Experience preparing draft year-end accounts for manager review.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software programmes such as Sage, QuickBooks and Xero Accounts.
