Apply now Are you a qualified ACCA / ACA Accounts Manager from a practice background with post qualification experience looking for your next challenge in a growing and forward thinking entrepreneurial practice? Are you looking to work in a newly created role, designed to take extra work off the partners so they can continue to concentrate on winning new clients? If so this growing independent practice with around 30 staff based in a prime North London location (zone 3) is looking to recruit a new Manager to assume a very important and high profile role within the business. Your role will including managing a portfolio of clients with GRF of £400 - £500k, and include a mixture of preparing statutory and management accounts for clients, tax returns, advisory projects and managing more junior staff members and reviewing their work. You will be expected to have a very hands on approach and deal with any client queries that arise, and to build long term relationships with your clients. Your client base will consist of small and medium size businesses with turnovers to £20m, many being in the creative, media, entertainment and leisure industries as well as property, professional services, medical and retailers. This firm is also known for providing its staff with structured progression, and you can expect to progress and learn new skills. Your role will be varied, challenging, yet hugely enjoyable. To be considered for this new position you must be a qualified ACCA / ACA and have some PQE. You will currently be working for a UK based accountancy practice firm and currently be operating at manager level. You must have experience managing your own portfolio of client and services clients to a very high standard. You need to have experience preparing accounts, tax returns, reviewing work and handling all client queries. Experience of audit work would be an advantage but not essential. Experience of a range of software packages is an advantage. You must also possess very strong communication skills and be smart in appearance, since the role involves regular contact with high profile clients.
