Apply now A national provider in student accommodation is recruiting a General Manager to join their team and to be responsible for all aspects of the business and building. General Manager - About The Role You will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of customer service is provided at all times to maximise revenue generation, which will be achieved through the delivery of residence services and effective staff management. The close working relationship with the team is critical to the success of this role and the residence. The ability to manage, coach and develop the team is important for the efficient running of a profitable centre, as is the development of relationships with clients. Therefore the ability to communicate effectively at all levels is essential. As the General Manager of this site you will manage a team of deputies, administrators, maintenance and housekeeping whilst overseeing the duties of any contract staff to the site. You will team player, who has a 'roll your sleeves up' attitude to a demanding and sometimes pressured environment. You will be able to coach people, develop staff; whilst leading from the front. To be considered for this role you will have relevant experience in managing a multi site property, you will be competent all aspects of managing the building to include; budgets, financial planning, P&l's and cost control.
