Apply now Our client is a highly reputable EV charging, Solar PV and Energy Storage company that specialises in Domestic and Commercial applications on a National basis. The Role: To be an integral and key member of the team, the successful Solar Project Engineer will respond to customer enquiries, arrange appointments for the site survey, quotations etc and provide the customer with an all-round professional experience from start to finish, with assistance from the account management team. Responsibilities: Initially, helping out with attending site and conduct full technical surveyProviding Desktop Proposal from initial enquiryShading Analysis, feasibility reports etcDesktop Proposals, installation proposalsRisk Assessments and Method Statements, Bill of MaterialsEstimating/proposal and follow up discussions with client With support from our Account Management team, securing the contract Preparation of all the installation paperwork, project scope, RAMS etc.Managing Installation teamSupporting the installation team and post installation completing the paperwork and system registration, registering with Building Control, MCS certification etc Person Specification: You will have a thorough understanding of Solar PV or Battery StorageIdeally have an electrical background/qualifications or good understandingYou may have installed/designed Solar PV and are looking for a new challengeExperience of working at heightsExperience of visiting site and dealing with end usersAbility to take on new tasks, duties and responsibilities as requiredExcellent written and verbal skillsComputer Literate to include MS applications and CADExtremely organised and able to prioritise work loadsEPC qualification / surveying experience would be desirableFull Driving Licence Package: Basic Salary: £25,000 - £40,000 DOEPension scheme20 days holiday + statutory.
